I am glad to join this program, as I am looking forward to lively debates and exchanges with my fellow friends and professors. I was born on 31 December 1976, on New Year's Eve, with lots of celebrations around, in the city I love Prishtina. I am currently concluding the MA from the Oxford Diplomatic Council, UK. I also have many certification programs from different local and international institutions (including International Trainers Association from Netherlands, University of Antwerpen in Belgium, US Institute for Peace, Peacebuilding and Development Institute, Kosovo Law Centre and other, as I feel that informal education is very important and enriching. Initially I was involved through NGOs Kosovo Law Centre, Major Kosovo Legal Think Tank and continuously for The Future, Youth Capacity Building organization where my function was as Founder. Further, I got engaged in working as Consultant and Trainer for several international and local organizations such as UN, UNDP, OSCE, World Bank, IOM, Council of Europe, EAR, Kosovo Law Centre, Council for the Defence of Human Rights, in the region in Kosovo and Macedonia, and internationally in Belgium, Jordan and UK. Practically I was involved for the past 7 years, in Reform of Higher Education according to European standards (Bologna Scheme), Reform in the Justice Sector and Reform in the Local Government, by designing and implementing projects and trainings, again striving to get closer to European integration. Currently I am engaged in the Local Government Reform Efforts in Kosova, but the apolitical decentralization, which brings the government and services closer to people, and I strongly believe that the citizens should take active role in the decision making process. Due to political situation, unfortunately the much needed real decentralization has been hijacked by the political process currently happening in Kosova.
